Whether you’re cruising for data about the new locale your company is transferring you to or you’re a sucker for a good information mashup, Bing Health Maps overlays dozens of health indicators over U.S. states.
Visit Bing Health Maps and select a state, then select any indicator you’re interested in. The results are layered over the map of the state in a county-by-county grid, opacity dependent on percentage. You can check out everything from infant mortality to motor vehicle injuries to the number of smokers in an area. It’s an interesting look at public health data that is usually represented in a less visual form.
Have a map mashup—health-related or otherwise—to share? Let’s hear about it in the comments.
